Here, stillness moves.
Contours speak without language. Edges dissolve into breath.
What appears delicate holds the weight of memory.
And what remains unseen becomes the most alive.
You are invited to step into my world shaped by lifelong lived experience, inner dialogue, creative resistance and the art of unlearning, deep and personal reckoning with identity, constraints, society, and the spaces in between.
Liberation is a visual invocation of form — where bodies and blooms speak in the same quiet geometry. In this collection, Irina Anikouchine traces the contours of emotion through acrylic lines and restrained palettes, drawing figures that are less anatomy than atmosphere. Petals echo the softness of flesh, stems rise like spines, and the spaces between hold the loudest silences. These are not portraits, but landscapes of becoming — where the body dissolves into line, and feeling finds its shape.
Tribute is a visceral excavation of the psyche — where tenderness meets turmoil, and the feminine form becomes both the wound and the witness. In this series, Irina Anikouchine renders figures not as representations, but as revelations. Composed in stark monochrome with bursts of symbolic color, each painting fractures and reforms the body into shapes of remembrance, resistance, and raw truth.
